Projects have included:

  • Working with excluded young people and repeat offenders
  • Commissioned murals
  • Community development & cohesion
  • Exhibitions and events
  • Social & environmental regeneration
  • Education programmes
  • Representing youth culture
  • Social inclusion
  • Reducing fear of crime
  • Anti-vandalism initiatives
  • Marketing and design
  • Working with multi-discipline art forms

The Stanwell Project

Between March and July 2009 Signal is running an exciting intergenerational community project involving Stanwell New Start residents and local community groups, discovering and documenting the stories of the Stanwell residents through artwork and film.

This will result in Our Green, a 50m long mural in Stanwell on St Mary's Crescent, and Moving Stories, a 30 minute broadcast quality documentary. Watch the project as it develops.
